2017 Mileage Reimbursement Rate from Workers Compensation Lawyers
IRS recently released that the 2017 mileage reimbursement rate is now 53.5 cents per mile. This is a .5 decrease since the 2016 rate of 54 cents per mile.
What does this mean for your accepted workers’ compensation claim? Starting January 1, 2017, when being reimbursed for medical mileage to and from medical facilities – the insurance carrier will reimburse you at the rate of 53.5 cents. Please keep this in mind when filling out your reimbursement forms.
